A lady sat behind me with two children on the airplane. It must be hard traveling with kids. They cried on-and-off. Not as bad as some I have sat around while flying. I have learned to block out the noise.

well if you have any good tips to give that would come in handy… I travelled to Japan a few times and 11 hours like that would drive me insane!
I walk to the back of the plane and talk to the flight attendants. That helps relieve the noise (or smells) and I get to talk to some very interesting people.
btw- I love Japan.
